The last few days

Not much going on here. Just working on my goals for next year. Marie sent me a really, really helpful bit of information, so I am pretty excited about these goals. For the first time I will have steps to achieve my goals, not just a list of "I wanna" and "I wish."

The weather has been insane. Yesterday I had to turn my A/C on and today we were freezing.

I am PMSing like crazy. the good news is that it isn't the raging, knock your head off stuff I normally get. The bad news is that it is all the other stuff... bloating, pain, crying, etc. The other bad news? That is now etched into your brain forever. I am sorry for that.

So I started my diet/lifestyle change/rest of my life. Here's hoping that this time it is something that I can do for the rest of my life. Over the last few years I have lost and gained the same 40lbs over and over. Every diet that I have tried has worked, and worked well... until I decide that I am tired of eating from such a small list of allowed foods.

I won't mention the diet, but my friend Emily and I followed a particular diet and were quite successful with it. I found out that Emily had followed the same diet years ago and lost quite a bit of weight. When she reached her goal weight she started eating "normally" again. Within a week she had put on weight, almost as fast as she had taken it off. I have heard it time and time again, with many different diets. Hopefully, the Mediterranean diet works for me.

One of my big problems is portion control, and that is a big part of the Med diet. Should be interesting. lol

I ordered Turbo Jam. Woohoo! Now, if the jackass who I bought it from pulls his head out of his behind and fixes the shipping issue, I should have it soon. Apparently, 3-5 business days really means whenever the hell he wants. So of course, I called ebay. They wanted to flag it as a misleading auction but I asked them to wait until I talked to him. (Did you know that you can get phone numbers from ebay? Neither did I!) So I called the guy and he said that he would call UPS and fix it. I called him back 4 hours later and he still hadn't called. So... I am going to give him to tomorrow afternoon and if he hasn't fixed it, all hell breaks loose. I swear to you that damn thing had better get to me within the next day or two. Don't mess with me and my $70, people! The sad thing is, he had no interest in doing anything until I mentioned that ebay was going to flag his account. What a jackass.
